My father served on this ship in late 1945. He was deployed to Tsingtao and served there several months. I recently found a "Daily Routine for Wednesday, 5 December 1945" for the U.S.S. Star (AKA 67) in his personal military files at home. This was either the date arrived or departed Tsingtao. I will scan this and upload this week when I scan other documents.
